MACO Corporal Rank Insignia

Corporal is a military rank, the equivalent of which is used by the service organizations of many civilizations. As a traditional infantry grade, Corporal is an enlisted rank in a fighting organization, below a Sergeant and above a Lance Corporal. In comparison to the Starfleet ranking system, this rank is marginally equivalent to the Starfleet Petty Officer or yeoman ranks.

This grade exists in some form in many rank arrangements, such as the Bajoran Militia and the MACOs. The MACO Corporal insignia patch are two silver chevrons.

The base of the Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) ranks, Corporals typically serve as team leader of the smallest Army units. Like Sergeants, they are responsible for individual training, personal appearance and cleanliness of Soldiers.
