USS Independence Master Systems Display

The USS Independence (NCC-93027-A) is a Navigator-class ship in service of the 22nd Mobile Daedalus. She was commissioned in 2412 and formally entered service in 2413.

The Navigator-class, of which the Independence belonged to, served as a test-bed for many of the technologies which were incorporated into the Odyssey-class in 2415.

The adventures of the USS Independence-A aired on Monday nights at 8:45PM. When the crew transferred to the USS Endeavour, the Independence-A ceased to be a player run ship.

The USS Independence-A was officialy transfered out of the 22nd Mobile to Starbase 418 and placed under the command of Captain Ann Goldman, by the direct order of Starfleet Chief of Staff, Admiral Joseph A. Marconi on April 10th, 2415.

As of 2419, the Independence is now the flagship of Rear Admiral Arak Verdaan and is one of the ships allocated to Task Force Discovery and Project Avalon.

Trivia[]

The first episode of the Independence-A aired on May 23rd, 2011. The last episode before the crew was transferred to the USS Endeavour was on February 13th, 2012.

Lieutenant Commander Nathan Sheridan and T'Pang share the distinction of being the longest running cast members of the USS Independence-A, as they were present on the first episode in Season 3 through Season 5. Sheridan was retired in Season 5 so that his player could bring on a different character. T'Pang was promoted to Lieutenant Commander and was given the position of Executive Officer on board the USS Endeavour as recognition of her service and skills.
